Job Description

PGT Solutions seeks a versatile Project Manager for an Acquisitions Life Cycle Support project within the United States Army Medical Research and Development Command (USAMRDC). The candidate must have knowledge and experience working with the Department of Defense Instruction (DoDI) 5000.02 Acquisition Process. The candidate shall provide the expertise and technical knowledge to enable and support the entire acquisition life cycle at a Project Management Office (PMO) level through proven project management practices utilizing known standards, best business practices, and timely resource management.

This full-time position is expected to be a hybrid function, with Fort Detrick, MD, the on-premises location. The ability to work at the client location is required. Light travel may be necessary to specific locations in the United States for meetings, events, and training.

Primary Responsibilities

The Project Manager shall demonstrate the following desired qualifications:

  • The candidate must have knowledge of and experience working with the Department of Defense Instruction (DoDI) 5000.02 Acquisition Process.
  • Significant experience managing Information Technology (IT) capabilities.
  • Experience leading projects, people, and teams through all phases of a successful project.
  • Experience coordinating responsibilities, overseeing quality management, and ensuring timeliness of completion of protocols, other regulatory submissions, and technical and acquisition reports.
  • Experience planning and executing multiple successful projects.
  • Expertise managing cost, scope, and schedule for all tasks on projects.
  • Experience using Program Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) 7th edition standards and practices.
  • Must undergo a basic background investigation of your criminal and credit histories. If your role requires access to sensitive information, facilities, or resources, your background investigation may also be expanded to get a security clearance.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: Ranges between $80K and $120K, commensurate with experience and client needs.
